OUR MISSION

LEARN ABOUT OUR CORE VALUES

The Steinway Society of British Columbia is a non-profit, volunteer-based organization that includes music activities and events that foster friendship and promotes goodwill. Our primary purpose is to give young pianists the opportunity to develop musical excellence and artistic talent. The Steinway Society of BC is composed of people who share a love for music with the shared goal of providing a platform for British Columbian pianists and other musicians to express their art for the purpose of enjoyment. The society presents a variety of piano recitals, master classes, workshops, and clinics in order to provide a platform for young artists to perform on stage, learn from the masters, communicate with other artists and further develop their talent. Whenever possible, our society provides “second life” pianos to underprivileged children. The Steinway Society of BC relies on our community partners and members who believe in the power of music. Your financial gift will contribute directly to Steinway Society of British Columbia’s ability to provide high-quality performances and vital music education programs.
