For many children, Halloween is an exciting holiday where they can express themselves through playful, extravagant or ghoulish costumes. In honour of this fun holiday, many of our talented students from the Young Artist Program were invited to perform in the Tom Lee Music Hall for a Halloween themed concert on Friday, October 14th at 7:00 pm. Everything from the concert hall to the signage was decorated with fun Halloween elements including fake skulls, cobwebs, flashing pumpkins, bats, monsters and even a fake severed arm which playfully crept out of the piano. The young performers were dressed as a multitude of diverse characters including a ninja, a pirate, a beautiful Snow White, Iron Man, Harry Potter, Queen Elsa and a couple of scary but adorable monsters. The students performed beautiful repertoire and had the experience of building confidence and sharing their creativity with a receptive, supportive audience. The community gathered together to turn an exceptionally rainy night into a warm and unforgettable celebration. Thank you to everyone who came out in support of our students!
