Our society was honoured to take part in the Tom Lee Music Angels Concert on December 6th in support of the Vancouver General Hospital & University of British Columbia Hospital Foundation! The event took place in the beautiful Diamond Family Courtyard within the Jim Pattison Pavilion of Vancouver General Hospital. The complementary concert featured exceptional classical music presented by members of our Young Artist Program, performed on a beautiful Steinway grand piano provided by Tom Lee Music.
Everyone had a wonderful afternoon listening to angelic music and reflecting on the importance of charitable giving during the holidays. Audience members were encouraged to make a donation to the VGH & UBC Hospital Foundation through their remarkable Angel Campaign. Every donation directly supports the most urgent needs in the hospitals including purchasing critical equipment, funding research projects and advancing vital patient care.
Thanks to many generous donors over the years, the Angel Campaign has raised over $2.5 million since 2001. The Steinway Society of BC feels passionate about this worthwhile cause and encourages everyone to be an angel by making a donation today. We also want to thank all of the children, parents, hospital patrons, doctors, nurses and hospital administrators who shared the holiday spirit with us!
